Keyword and traffic data at a scale I cannot touch
Semrush holds billions of keywords across more than 140 country databases, with volumes, difficulty and SERP history. RankPulse has no keyword data of any kind. If search demand is your question, Semrush answers it and I do not.
Position Tracking runs daily and alerts on it
Semrush checks your ranking positions every day and can email you when they shift. RankPulse has no rank tracking and never will. Positions are what most people actually care about.

Authority Score is not DA
Semrush reports its own Authority Score from its own index. If a client brief, a sponsor or a link buyer asks for DA, Semrush cannot answer the question. Only Moz computes DA, and that is the number RankPulse shows.
Spam Score, not Toxicity Score
Semrush has a Toxicity Score inside Backlink Audit, its own judgement of your link profile. Moz's Spam Score is a different number, and plenty of outreach and marketplace workflows ask for it by name.

Does Semrush show Moz's Domain Authority?
No. Semrush shows Authority Score, computed from its own crawl and its own model. The two scores correlate loosely and disagree often. Only Moz publishes DA.
Four numbers for $9 a month. Is that not a very thin product?
It is thin, deliberately. You are paying for the daily check, the change detection and the email, not for a data set I built. If you would happily look up four numbers by hand once a month, the free checker at /check does exactly that and costs nothing.
Can I cancel Semrush and use RankPulse instead?
Only if you never open the keyword, position or audit tools. If you do open them, RankPulse replaces none of it. It replaces the part where you check an authority score.
Why do backlink counts differ between Semrush and RankPulse?
Different indexes and different counting rules. Moz and Semrush crawl the web separately, so their totals rarely match. Pick one source and watch its direction rather than reconciling absolute numbers across tools.
How quickly do I hear about a change?
The check runs at 06:00 UTC and the email goes out in the same run. Moz recomputes its index every 3 to 5 weeks, so on most days there is nothing to send and nothing arrives.
