Terms of Service

1. The service

RankPulse monitors the domain metrics we make available from time to time - currently domain authority, page authority, spam score, and backlinks - for domains you choose to track, and sends you alerts and reports about changes. RankPulse is a service operated from the United Kingdom ("we", "us"). By creating an account or subscribing you agree to these terms.

2. Accounts

You must provide a valid email address and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You can delete your account at any time from the account page, which cancels your subscription and removes your data.

3. Subscriptions and billing

The Pro plan is billed monthly in advance through Stripe at the price shown on the pricing page. Subscriptions renew automatically. You can cancel at any time from your account page or the billing portal; your plan stays active until the end of the paid period and is not renewed after that. Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice by email before the change affects you.

4. 30-day money-back guarantee

If you are not happy with RankPulse, email support@rankpulse.dev within 30 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full. The guarantee applies once per customer, to the first subscription payment. This does not limit any statutory cancellation rights you have as a consumer.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use RankPulse to disrupt the service, circumvent rate limits or plan limits, resell data feeds, or monitor domains in connection with unlawful activity. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or harm its operation.

6. Data accuracy

Metrics shown in RankPulse come from third-party data providers (currently Moz data via RapidAPI). These are estimates that can change, lag, or be temporarily unavailable. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or availability of third-party metrics, and the service is provided "as is".

Domain authority, page authority and spam score are proprietary models built by their providers. They are not Google ranking factors and Google does not use them. We may change, add, or remove a data provider or an individual metric if a provider changes its terms, pricing, or availability, or stops serving us. Where such a change materially reduces what you are paying for, section 8 applies.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect damages such as lost profits or lost rankings. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including mandatory consumer rights.

8. Changes and termination

We may update the service and these terms; material changes will be announced by email or in the app at least 14 days in advance. If you do not agree with a change, you can cancel before it takes effect. We may terminate the service with 30 days' notice, refunding any prepaid period beyond the termination date.

9. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are handled by the courts of England and Wales, without limiting your rights as a consumer to bring proceedings in your country of residence. Questions: support@rankpulse.dev.
